Spicy Teriyaki Skewered Prawns

Out of all my recent creations, my mother seemed most intrigued by my skewered prawns.

So I made more in her honor.
The colors of nature are wonderful...


So simple, and so yummy!




Mmm... charred... More carcinogens, please!


The one notion that got me hooked on this recipe is that, during the process, the prawn starts "hugging" the pineapple chunk. Sweeeeet!!!...

I had a piece that was so perfectly fused, it was like a welding job well done. It was almost like... love!

Woulda made an excellent demo photo, but by then i was busy eating.


One can never have too many shots of prawns...
