Within 24 hours my mother sends me two emails. I reply to one.
"That's the easy one," i told Elsie afterwards on IM.
My mother almost instantly shot back another email inquiring why i hadn't replied to the other email.
"Are you that busy?" She asked.
No, not busy. Just that there are other things i'd rather be doing.
This morning i told her:
It's not easy to reply to your email. It requires a lot of thought.
I swear the woman drains me.
After i finally officially replied, i told Denisse, "The whole time i was wishing i had a screwdriver. The drink, not the tool."
A while ago i told JD, "I don't blame my mother for the way i turned out any more."
"Oh?" Responded JD. "Who do you blame?"
"Myself," said i.
I may revert.
