Stimulus

Since I quit Merry Lore in February, i've had 3 sources of income:

1. $8,000 tax credit for having purchased a home in 2009.

2. $300 cashback from my Chase Visa Rewards program.

3. $150 incentive for opening a checking account at Chase (even though i have already been banking at Chase.) The catch? $1500 minimum balance and not allowed to close the account for 6 months. For a non-interest-yielding account to yield a 10% return in a 6-month period? I doubt i can find elsewhere. I'm in!

(Hey, i didn't major in Finance for nothing.)

The sum exceeds what i would've made at Merry Lore in three months. Not too shabby, huh?

How better to celebrate than getting a new purse? From an online boutique, no less.

Now that's what i call giving back!
