Abalone salad

At $23.99/lb., you'd think i'd appreciate a bit more. Sure photographs well, though. : )

Before today I've had abalone only the Canto way: braised in oyster sauce.

I've since discovered raw on the shell and Elsie recommends grilling those simply with minced garlic. Mmm... i think that's the way to go!
