Seafood Bisque


With New Zealand hoki (also known as blue grenadier)

Thai prawns...

Pacific oysters, and Argentine petite scallops (too miniscule to be photographed - LOL!)

In a creamy broth of crimini, heirloom tomatoes... with a splash of port (the recipe called for sherry but i learned the two are interchangeable in most cases)

And, last but not least, parsley!

I go down the list of ingredients again.

I love California!
