I was sad upon learning Elsie is holding on to it till a special occasion. Right now the plastic friend sits high on the kitchen island where OC can't see.I know people buy presents ahead of time when they run into good buys. I've never been good at that. When i buy a gift i need to send it rapidly on its merry way to the recipient. Life's too short. Who needs to wait? Everyday is a good occasion.
